Why did you choose this car?

My brother actually had a Sonic and convinced me to go with a Cruze after I sold my truck. Needed a good daily driver that was better on fuel than my truck.

What was the main goal when the build started and what is it now?

The build first started when I got the car 4 years ago, I originally had it lowered on coilovers and wrapped OD green. The project then changed this past fall in 2019. Started with getting a new wrap done on the car in the fall before it was parked for the winter. The car was then kept a secret from friends and family as nice surprise come spring. My brother and I worked on it over the winter adding new parts. The whole idea behind going with the air setup was so that I was able to daily the car and still have that low stance that I had with the coil overs, yet at the same time be able to raise the car to be able to pull my seadoos.

What are your future plans for the car?

Future plans for the car right now would be an exhaust system when I can find the sound I like and more engine upgrades.

Is there anything you would have done differently if you could go back?

If I could had done anything differently it would had been getting the work done sooner. Started the work towards end of winter and ended up waiting a long time on parts because of COVID-19. It would had been nicer to had the car done earlier, but happy that it's finally out.

Shout Outs

Huge thanks to all the places and companies that brought it all together. True North Auto Salon on the wrap, JP Powder Coating INC. on the rims and tires, my brother for the hours he spent helping me to install all the components and get everything working, and of course Cruze Culture for not only the air setup, but for the awesome customer service. With Daniel's help for making it possible to actually get the air kit to me. All these companies showed excellent customer service every step of the way and I cannot thank them enough for getting the car to the look the way it is today. They have gained a new customer for life from myself and a few new friends along the way.
